How our pricing works
EPR compliance is country-specific. Our pricing reflects that reality.
Country Gating
Each plan includes a set number of countries. Starting at 1 country on Trial, up to all 27 EU countries on Scale. Add countries as your business grows into new markets. Switch between markets to explore obligations before committing to registration.
See country guides →SKU Gating
Each product (SKU) has its own packaging profile — materials, weight, recyclability grade. More SKUs means more compliance data to manage. Our plans scale from 25 SKUs on Trial to 10,000 on Scale, matching your catalogue size to the right tooling.

Everything you need to know about EPR compliance pricing.
- What does EPR compliance actually cost?
- EPR compliance costs vary by country, material, and volume. In Germany, you pay a dual-system PRO per kg of packaging (typically €100–€800/year for small sellers). In France, eco-organisme fees include a fixed annual contribution plus per-unit rates (~€150–€600/year). Italy's CONAI charges per kg per material (~€50–€300/year). DutyScope helps you estimate and track these costs across all your markets so there are no surprises.
- Why charge per country and SKU?
- EPR obligations scale with the number of countries you sell in and the number of products you manage. Our pricing reflects the actual complexity of EPR compliance — each country has its own registrations, PROs, fee structures, and deadlines. More SKUs mean more packaging types, materials, and compliance data to track. Our country/SKU gating ensures you only pay for the coverage you need.
- Can I switch plans at any time?
- Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When you upgrade, you gain immediate access to additional countries and streams. When you downgrade (e.g., to pause a market), your data is preserved, and you can pick up where you left off when you re-upgrade.
- Do I still need to pay government registration fees separately?
- Yes. DutyScope tracks and alerts you about government registration fees (e.g., LUCID registration is free, Stiftung EAR costs ~€100–€200, ADEME UIN issuance may have administrative fees), but these are paid directly to the relevant authorities and PROs — not through DutyScope. Our platform gives you the roadmap; you execute the registrations.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. Our Trial plan gives you 14 days of full access to 1 country and 25 SKUs. Explore the compliance matrix, deadline calendar, and cost estimation features with no obligation. No credit card required to start.
- What happens after PPWR enforcement on August 12, 2026?
- All DutyScope plans include PPWR readiness features — recyclability grade tracking, Declaration of Conformity preparation, and substance-restriction checks. Our Growth plan and above include the full PPWR tracker with countdown, recycled-content target monitoring, and marketplace verification guidance. We continuously update our config engine as PPWR guidance evolves.
